HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Don't let your problems punish your dreams-
2-Be kind whenever possible---it is always possible-
3-What you can do today can impact all your tomorrows-
4-Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will
leave footprints on your heart-
5-The more anger toward the past you carry in your heart, the less capable
you are of living in the present-
STRANGE THOUGHT-When it rains it wets the earth and often messes things up,
when it doesn't rain for awhile, things dry up-
I'VE LEARNED-When you give generously to others, you can expect to receive
abundant generosity yourself-
DID YOU KNOW
1-Ninety percent of women who walk into a department store immediately turn
to the right-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What kind of plaque did God strike the Israelites with as punishment
because of what they did with the golden calf Aaron made?
2-Why does God punish the children and grand children to the 3rd and 4th
generations for the sins of the fathers? Is this justice to those who are
innocent?
3-How could Moses have possibly remembered all the detailed instructions
that God gave for the building of the tabernacle?
4-Why was Aaron permitted to become a high priest following his sin of
making the golden calf and then trying to avoid responsibility for it?
5-Is the detail about all the various sacrificial offerings the Israelites
made really important to know today?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Whom did God ask? "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by
words without knowledge?
Answer for today Job 38:2
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY 1 Peter 5:10
10 And
after you suffer for a short time, God, who gives all grace, will make
everything right. He will make you strong and support you and keep you from
falling. He called you to share in his glory in Christ, a glory that will
continue forever.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Great Shepherd of our souls, we look to You for guidance, wisdom, and protection. Just as a good shepherd would lay down his life to save his sheep You laid down Your life to save us from our sins. There is none in all the world who can save us for all eternity except You so we are fully indebted to You for giving Your all that we might experience abundant life here, now, and forevermore. Amen.
