HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-As soon as Jesus comes, the situation changes-

2-You don't need a personal resurrection if you are not dead-

3-God's grace is better than healing-

4-There is a reason for everything God does-

5-You are a brand new person when your sins are forgiven-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Dachshund-a dog that is half a dog high and a dog and a half long-

 

I'VE LEARNED-At some point, everybody leaves it all behind-

 

DID YOU KNOW-Values on the Monopoly game board are the same today as they were in 1935-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-To whom all did Jesus appear to by themselves?

2-Why was Thomas so doubtful about Jesus' resurrection when all the other disciples assured him it was true?

3-Who was the angel that came from heaven and rolled the stone away from the tomb and then sat on it?

4-When was Jesus' tomb opened by an angel?

5-How long was Jesus' tomb open before being visited by the women wanting to anoint his body?

²⁰ Then Jesus went home, but again a crowd gathered. There were so many people that Jesus and his followers could not eat. ²¹ When his family heard this, they went to get him because they thought he was out of his mind.

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

  Father, You are the Giver of all good things. You have given us so much and we are indeed grateful. Move upon our hearts to be generous with our resources. When we’re tempted to look at other’s possessions in comparison to our own, bring to our mind those who have less rather than those who have more. This will help us to be more prayerful and generous toward those who are without. It will also help us to be less whining and more content with what we have. Amen.
