HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Never take away someone's hope for that may be all they have-
2-Courage is having faith even though we feel uncertain-
3-God is who he said he is-
4-In the hurt, pain and suffering God is near and he is good, even if the
ending isn't-
5-Worry is a warning light that you doubt that God loves you and will take
care of you-
STRANGE THOUGHT-What is a "free gift"-aren't all gifts free?
I'VE LEARNED-What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight-build
anyway-
DID YOU KNOW-Bambi was originally published in 1929 in
German-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why does god allow satan to live?
2-Was Jesus' body perfect by human standards?
3-Would Jesus have been considered a handsome man?
4-Would Jesus have had any gray hair?
5-Would Jesus have been of average height and weight?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Where did Jesus send the demons he drove out of the Gadarene

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY Mark 6:53-56
53 When they had crossed the lake, they came to shore at
Gennesaret and tied the boat there. 54 When they got out of the
boat, people immediately recognized Jesus. 55 They ran everywhere in that
area and began to bring sick people on mats wherever they heard he was.
56 And everywhere he went—into towns, cities, or
countryside—the people brought the sick to the marketplaces. They begged him to
let them touch just the edge of his coat, and all who touched it were
healed.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, Your Word is a lamp unto my
feet and a light unto my path. Help me to journey in faith when the path is
dimmed or obscured from that which You have planned for me. When I can only see
through a glass darkly, help me to trust You for what is yet to come. May I have
a believing, obedient spirit even when I don’t fully understand Your plan. For
Your thoughts are not my thoughts nor are Your ways my ways. They are higher and
wiser, for they are of divine origin, so help me to be mindful that You always
know what’s best and will lead me according to Your will and Your timing.
Amen.
