Monday October 16, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Our conduct and acts of love reveal the nature of God-
2-God so loved that he gave.  satan is so selfish that he sought to rob God and the human race of everything worthwhile-
3-Love without the ability to use it would not be love-
4-True love does not seek it's own interest-
5-Loving God means we join our will to God's will-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Archaeologists never discover anything new-

I'VE LEARNED
No one can sincerely help another without helping themselves also-

DID YOU KNOW
In Michigan, it is illegal to chain an alligator to a fire hydrant-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-By requiring animal sacrifices in the old testament was God being cruel to animals?
2-Was any of the Bible dictated?
3-Does the Bible tell us all there is to know about God?
4-Does God make it difficult or easy to believe in him?
5-Are we qualified to call anyone a sinner?

BIBLE TRIVIA, but Acts 1:18-19 says someone
Matthew 27:6-8 says the priests bought the potter's field, but Acts 1:18-19 says someone else bought it.  Who was that?
Answer for today     Judas Iscariot

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
1 Corinthians 10:23-26   “We are allowed to do all things,” but not all things are good for us to do. “We are allowed to do all things,” but not all things help others grow stronger. 24 Do not look out only for yourselves. Look out for the good of others also.25 Eat any meat that is sold in the meat market. Do not ask questions about it. 26 You may eat it, “because the earth belongs to the Lord, and everything in it.
