Tuesday October 24, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Avoid impulse purchases.  Don't buy what you don't need-
2-The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have-
3-Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you-not because they are nice, but because you are-
4-If you haven't any charity in your heart, you have the worst kind of heart trouble-
5-Always be a little kinder than necessary-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Courteous people learn courtesy from the discourteous-

I'VE LEARNED
Abundance tends to flow back to those who give-

DID YOU KNOW
A group of geese on the ground is called a gaggle, a group of geese in the air is called a skein-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can you believe in God and not believe in Jesus as his son?
2-Why do today's Christians tend to care more about God's soft virtues and forget his hard virtues-
3-Is hell a punishment for having broken God's standards or a natural consequence of having your own way?
4-Is hell a punishment or a punishing?
5-The Christian has a resurrected body in heaven.  Does the sinner have an after death body in hell?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What book says, in the same chapter, "Answer not a fool according to his folly", and "Answer a fool according to his folly"
Answer for today      Proverbs 26:4 and 26:5

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Ephesians 1:13-14   So it is with you. When you heard the true teaching—the Good News about your salvation—you believed in Christ. And in Christ, God put his special mark of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit that he had promised. 14 That Holy Spirit is the guarantee that we will receive what God promised for his people until God gives full freedom to those who are his—to bring praise to God’s glory.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank you for sending your son to be the redemption price for my sins, for sealing me with your holy spirit, and for guaranteeing my inheritance-

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
