Saturday December 30, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-What may be your right may not necessarily be the right thing to do-
2-If our happiness is in the "when" and "ifs" we miss out on the joys and blessings of the "here and nows"-
3-Existing and living are not the same-
4-If you live in yesterday you will never be able to get to where you want to be tomorrow-
5-When you have nothing to worry about, you worry about nothing-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Research has determined that the shelf life of fruit cake is longer than the shelf-

I'VE LEARNED
Even though I have pains, I don't have to be one-

DID YOU KNOW
The Kodiak can weigh up to five hundred pounds more than any other kind of bear-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What tools would Noah have had available to build the ark?
2-How did Noah know how to build the ark's interiors since he didn't know how many creatures would be coming?
3-How was all the food and water provided for all the humans and creatures on  the ark?
4-How was it possible to provide all the water necessary in the ark for the trip prior to leaving?
5-Was building the ark Noah's full time job after receiving God's instruction?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who said   "Israel, you are blessed! No one else is like you,
Because you are a people saved by the Lord.
He is your shield and helper, Your glorious sword.
Your enemies will be afraid of you, and you will walk all over their holy places.”
Answer for today        Moses

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Matthew  13:23   But what is the seed that fell on the good ground? That seed is like the person who hears the teaching and understands it. That person grows and produces fruit, sometimes a hundred times more, sometimes sixty times more, and sometimes thirty times more.”

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, break my hard heart so it will be good ground for the seeds of your Word to grow and produce a harvest for your kingdom-

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
