1-When we repent of our sins, God promises to forgive us.  He delivers us from sin's eternal consequences although he does not promise to undo all of sins's earthly consequences-
2-Life is short no matter how long you live-
3-Because life is short, don't neglect what is truly important-
4-Often, blessings cannot be received unless we go through the trial of waiting-
5-One antidote for depression is to meditate on the record of God's goodness to his people-
