Monday August 13, 2007 thought for the day

DID YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND?-IT IS REMAINING HOT IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND WE SURE DO NEED SOME GOOD RAIN-here are my thoughts for today-
1-God is more concerned about our saying "real" things than our saying the "right" things when we pray-
2-Hopeless prayers are pathetic prayers-
3-Integrity is essential to Christian growth-
4-Be careful to who you go for advice-
5-We need to be overcomers, not just survivors-

Strange thought-a thief who stole a calendar got 12 months!

I've learned-your teenage years are filled with tribulations, confusion, agony and love-but then so are your adult years!

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
