HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-What a friend we have in Jesus!

2-Daily duties are daily joys because they are something which God gives us to offer to him, to do our very best, in acknowledgement of his love-

3-God, help me make wise choices this day as I have the privilege of choosing how to spend it-

4-God made us as we are in order to use us as he planned-

5-Ask God to give you the wisdom to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Don't think too much, for you'll create a problem that wasn't even there in the first place-

I'VE LEARNED-No one who tries to do something great but fails is a total failure-

DID YOU KNOW-Leif Erikson was the first European to set foot in North America, in 1000 BC, not Columbus-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-When did Jesus know Judas would betray him?

2-Did Jesus know that Judas had been steeling from the groups money?

3-Did the disciples know that Judas had been stealing from the groups money?

4-Where did the money come from that Judas kept for the disciples?

5-When did satan enter into Judas?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What king was constantly making oaths of love and loyalty to David while frequently trying to kill him?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY Matthew 6:5-8

⁵ "When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray so people will see them. I tell you the truth, they already have their full reward. ⁶ When you pray, you should go into your room and close the door and pray to your Father who cannot be seen. Your Father can see what is done in secret, and he will reward you.

⁷ "And when you pray, don't be like those people who don't know God. They continue saying things that mean nothing, thinking that God will hear them because of their many words. ⁸ Don't be like them, because your Father knows the things you need before you ask him.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lamb of God, I worship You for all You are and thank You for all that You have done. Only You could appease the heart of the Father to bring loving reconciliation and eternal hope to the human race. The curse of sin was lifted when You became the Sacrificial Lamb. Thank You for Your complete obedience and unending compassion. Amen.
