HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-Bless the lord oh my soul, and all that is within me bless his holy name!

2-If your troubles are deep seated or long standing, try kneeling-

3-Four things to learn in life

-Think clearly without hurry or confusion-
-Love everyone sincerely-

-Act in everything with the highest motive-

-Trust God unhesitatingly-

4-Afflictions may be lasting but not everlasting-

5-Although salvation is a free gift, we must still ask for it-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Always go to other people's funerals so they will go to yours-

I'VE LEARNED-The speed at which a woman says "nothing!" when asked what is wrong is inversely proportional to the severity of the coming storm!!!!!

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY Galatians 5:1-6

¹ We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong. Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law.² Listen, I Paul tell you that if you go back to the law by being circumcised, Christ does you no good.³ Again, I warn every man: If you allow yourselves to be circumcised, you must follow all the law.⁴ If you try to be made right with God through the law, your life with Christ is over—you have left God's grace.⁵ But we have the true hope that comes from being made right with God, and by the Spirit we wait eagerly for this hope.⁶ When we are in Christ Jesus, it is not important if we are circumcised or not. The important thing is faith—the kind of faith that works through love.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, help us to walk by faith and not by sight. Give us divinely prescribed vision to see the hosts of the heavenly army who stand guard to protect us or engage in warfare against our enemy in the heavenly realms. We clothe ourselves in Your armor so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. We stand against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. May we walk in confidence rather than fear as we trust You to protect and guide us in all our ways. Amen.
