HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-Full grown oak trees are not grown in 3 years, neither are Jesus' followers-

2-"Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their hearts..."-

3-The angel called Peter out of prison but it was prayer that called the angel to come and do so-

4-Worry is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind and if encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained-

5-If I could have one wish this year it would be to be the kind of friend that you have been to me-

STRANGE THOUGHT-No bird flies too high if it flies with it's own wings-

I'VE LEARNED-The number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I fail and keep on trying-

1-How had satan been able to enter into Judas?

2-Why didn't Jesus expel satan from Judas?

3-Why didn't Jesus forgive Judas as he did those who crucified him?

4-If Jesus knew from the beginning that Judas would betray him, why did he choose Judas?

5-Jesus called Peter "satan" so why didn't he call Judas that also?

Love All People

⁴³ "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemies.' ⁴⁴ But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you. ⁴⁵ If you do this, you will be true children of your Father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and he sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong.⁴⁶ If you love only the people who love you, you will get no reward. Even the tax collectors do that.⁴⁷ And if you are nice only to your friends, you are no better than other people. Even those who don't know God are nice to their friends. ⁴⁸ So you must be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lamb of God, I worship You for all You are and thank You for all that You have done. Only You could appease the heart of the Father to bring loving reconciliation and eternal hope to the human race. The curse of sin was lifted when You became the Sacrificial Lamb. Thank You for Your complete obedience and unending compassion. Amen.
