HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-When you forgive someone, you release them from your judgement-
2-Forgiveness does not require you to pretend what happened never
happened-
3-Forgiveness in no way requires you to trust the one you forgave-
4-Forgiveness does not excuse anything-
5-Greatness is not the same as fame and is determined by service-
STRANGE THOUGHT-You don't have to control your thoughts, you just have to
stop them from controlling you-
I'VE LEARNED-No one is perfect until you fall in love with them-
DID YOU KNOW-Soccer is played in more countries than any other sport-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW-
1-Did Jesus observe the popular practice of Sabbath observance?
2-Why was there so much animosity between Jesus and the Pharisees?
3-Did Jesus and the Pharisees share anything in common?
4-Did Jesus have more in common with the Pharisees or the Sadducees?
5-Did Jesus have any Pharisees as friends?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What apostle was almost done in by forty men waiting to ambush
him at Jerusalem?
Yesterday's answer-Uzziah 2 Chronicles 26:14-15
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY- Matthew 24:9-14
9 "Then people will arrest you, hand you over
to be hurt, and kill you. They will hate you because you believe in
me.10 At that time, many will lose their faith,
and they will turn against each other and hate each other.11 Many false prophets will come and cause many
people to believe lies.12 There will be more and more evil in the
world, so most people will stop showing their love for each other.13But
those people who keep their faith until the end will be saved. 14 The Good News about God's kingdom will be
preached in all the world, to every nation. Then the end will
come.
PRAYER
FOR TODAY
Father,
Your kingdom has no end and no beginning, for You reign forever. Our heart’s
affections must not be limited to our pilgrimage on earth for all things here
will pass away, so we fix our affections on things above where Christ sits at
Your right hand. We want to walk in obedience to You so that our lives are
proven incorruptible and trustworthy by Your standards as we are receiving the
goal of our faith; the salvation of our souls. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.
