HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-It is not the failing that counts but what you do with it-
2-Failing is often God's way of helping you to zero in on his highest and
best-
3-You are not a failure as long as you keep getting up and trying
again-
4-There is a big difference in saying "I failed" and "I'm a failure"-
5-The basic rule for success is to know what you want, find out what it
takes to get it and act on it and persevere-
STRANGE THOUGHT-A friend is someone who thinks you are a good egg even
though you are slightly cracked-
I'VE LEARNED-If you don't ask, the answer is always no-
DID YOU KNOW-Before 1850, golf balls were made of leather and stuffed with
feathers-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Should Christians save up and provide for their senior years?
2-How is your eye the "light of your body"?
3-Is it possible to serve more than one boss at a time?
4-Do Christians tend to get God and Santa Claus mixed up?
5-Do we always understand what we ask God for?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king of Israel had the whole dynasty of Ahab
murdered?
Yesterday's answer-Herodias and her daughter Mark 6:25, 27
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY Matthew 25:19-21
19 "After a long time the master came home and
asked the servants what they did with his money. 20 The servant who was given five bags of gold
brought five more bags to the master and said, 'Master, you trusted me to care
for five bags of gold, so I used your five bags to earn five more.' 21The
master answered, 'You did well. You are a good and loyal servant. Because you
were loyal with small things, I will let you care for much greater things. Come
and share my joy with me.'
PRAYER
FOR TODAY
Father,
we don’t have to worry that You are nowhere to be found. We have Your Spirit
abiding in our hearts and we know that You sit upon the throne in heaven.
Though we cannot see You we believe in You and are filled with an inexpressible
and glorious joy even in the midst of difficulties here on earth. We eagerly
await the second coming of Christ when we will be caught up with Him in the air
or when You call us home through death. Thank You for Jesus who makes
intercession for us as He sits at Your right hand. It is in His name that we
pray. Amen.
