HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-If you keep your mind on the Lord, it will keep you from getting it on your problems and troubles-

2-Just through positive thinking, your body is actually physically strengthened and made healthier as a result-

3-Your mind will not make the decision to be positive if your spirit hasn't first yielded to the spirit of positiveness-

4-If you are a positive person, people will react more amicably or friendly to you-

5-Positive thinking results in positive actions which cause a chain reaction of positive results-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Intolerance will not be tolerated-

 

I'VE LEARNED-We should keep our words soft and tender because tomorrow we may have to eat them-

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY     Matthew 24:15-25

¹⁵ "Daniel the prophet spoke about 'a blasphemous object that brings destruction.'^[a] You will see this standing in the holy place." (You who read this should understand what it means.) ¹⁶ "At that time, the people in Judea should run away to the mountains.¹⁷ If people are on the roofs^[b] of their houses, they must not go down to get anything out of their houses.¹⁸ If people are in the fields, they must not go back to get their coats.¹⁹ At that time, how terrible it will be for women who are pregnant or have nursing babies!²⁰ Pray that it will not be winter or a Sabbath day when these things happen and you have to run away,²¹because at that time there will be much trouble. There will be more trouble than there has ever been since the beginning of the world until now, and nothing as bad will ever happen again.²² God has decided to make that terrible time short. Otherwise, no one would go on living. But God will make that time short to help the people he has chosen.²³ At that time, someone might say to you, 'Look, there is the Christ!' Or another person might say, 'There he is!' But don't believe them.²⁴ False Christs and false prophets will come and perform great wonders and miracles. They will try to fool even the people God has chosen, if that is possible. ²⁵ Now I have warned you about this before it happens.

 

PRAYER FOR TODAY]

Father, we look into the book of Daniel and see that the Babylonian society in which he was held captive, from youth through old age, was godless and hostile to those seeking to live a Christian lifestyle.  Nonetheless Daniel prayed openly and faithfully to You, never forsaking the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He did not seek to fit into the Mindset of his society but willingly stood apart from them as a follower of the one true God.  Today we have many brothers and sisters who follow Christ; we have the Scripture that teaches us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions; we have living examples throughout Scripture and history of those who courageously remained faithful to the end, and we have the infilling of the Holy Spirit which strengthens us daily in our Christian walk.  When the Son of Man comes back to find faithfulness on the earth, may we be among that number.  In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.

 

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING. BE A FRIEND. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE. TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND.
