HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Never hesitate to trust the unknown future to a known God-
2-Worry is stewing without doing-
3-Grateful people are happy people-
4-You must cultivate an attitude of gratitude-
5-The way you think determines how you feel which determines how you
act-
STRANGE THOUGHT-A will is a dead give away-
I'VE LEARNED-When you decide to put on the brakes on temptation is when
tension begins-
DID YOU KNOW-A down burst is a downward blowing wind that sometimes comes
blasting out of a thunderstorm. The damage looks like tornado damage, because
the wind can be as strong as an F2 tornado, but the debris is blown straight
away from a point on the ground, not lifted into the air and transported
downwind-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When Jesus sent his disciples out 2 by 2, he stated they had great power
and gave them specific instructions. Did they do what he asked?
2-One of the things Jesus said in sending out his disciples was "Don't
think the only reason I came to earth was to make everything peaceful and
nice." I thought he came to bring us peace. What did he mean?
3-To put Jesus first in your life, do you have to forsake your
family?
4-What is the longest time Jesus ever spent praying?
5-What miracle had the greatest impact on the disciples?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What epistle warns Christians against patronizing
prostitutes?
Yesterday's answer-Samson Judges 16:1-3
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 1:32-34
32-33 Then John said, "I saw the Spirit come down
from heaven in the form of a dove and rest on him. Until then I did not know who
the Christ was. But the God who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'You will
see the Spirit come down and rest on a man; he is the One who will baptize with
the Holy Spirit.' 34 I have seen this happen, and I tell you the
truth: This man is the Son of God."[a]

- John 1:34 the Son of God Some Greek copies read "God's Chosen One."
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
we are grateful for the many believers who invested in our lives at the
beginning of our spiritual journey and for those who presently spur us on to
faithfulness, good works, and spiritual growth. Just as King Joash needed the
example and teaching of a godly priest, we too, need the exemplary guidance of
those whose walk with the Lord is mature, consistent and inspiring. Speak to our
hearts if we are to provide guidance to one who is struggling along the way, one
whose life is complicated by factors that can easily lead him to stray from the
right path. We want to be useful in building and expanding Your kingdom. In
Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
