HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-Everyday you should reach out and touch someone with love-

2-In the lonely hours of a man's great trials, nobody's words mean more to him than his wife's encouraging words-

3-If you truly love someone, even  if they have wronged you, it is possible to look beyond their faults and accept them and forgive them-

4-When we allow God's Spirit to dwell in us, we take on his nature-

5-Once you personally know that God loves and forgives you, it becomes much easier to love and forgive others-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-I may not be a great artist, but I am good at drawing a blank-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes-

1-Could the human part of Jesus ever have had a lustful thought?

2-What is the reason and purpose of God?

3-Did God provide only one way to him?

4-What keeps us from hearing God?

5-Does God have complete foreknowledge about everything?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Matthew  27:15-18

 ¹⁵ Every year at the time of Passover the governor would free one prisoner whom the people chose. ¹⁶ At that time there was a man in prison, named Barabbas,^[a] who was known to be very bad. ¹⁷ When the people gathered at Pilate's house, Pilate said, "Whom do you want me to set free: Barabbas^[b] or Jesus who is called the Christ?" ¹⁸ Pilate knew that they turned Jesus in to him because they were jealous.

 

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, sometimes we are frustrated by what little we have to offer others when we compare ourselves with those who are greatly talented or those who have a special way with words, or even those who may have financial resources to bless others in ways that we cannot. But we are not limited in reaching out to one who may be looking for a reason to smile or to the one who simply needs a helping hand. We pray for the prompting of the Holy Spirit to show us ways that we can encourage those around us so that it will be passed on to others as well. We pray for this through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
