HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Forgiveness is seeing past the faults and wrongs of the moment-
2-When you receive God's forgiveness for your sins you refuse to accept the
condemnation of Satan-
3-If you forgive others for their wrongdoing, Satan can't condemn them
either-
4-God hates sin but unconditionally loves the sinner and we must strive to
do likewise-
5-When you forgive it doesn't mean you are accepting the wrongdoing, rather
it means you are believing in God's power to overcome them-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Secular Christmas is a weird time. What other time of the
year do you sit in front of a dead or artificial tree and eat candy out of your
socks?
I'VE LEARNED-I feared my destiny until I realized that I had the power to
change my life-
DID YOU KNOW-Buzz Aldrin's mother maiden name was Moon-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can you influence the innocent to sin?
2-If two or more people agree about asking God for something, will they
always get it?
3-Is God more present with 2 or 3 or with groups of thousands?
4-Are Christians to endlessly forgive an offender?
5-At what point does repeated forgiveness enable an offender?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who did Jesus send fishing in order to get money to pay
taxes?
Yesterday's answer-King Menahem 2 Kings 15:19-20
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 2:23-25
23 When Jesus was in Jerusalem for the Passover
Feast, many people believed in him because they saw the miracles he did. 24 But Jesus did not believe in them because he
knew them all. 25 He did not need anyone to tell him about
people, because he knew what was in people's minds.
PRAYER
FOR TODAY
Father,
we pray that we will not be fearful or ashamed, but will have sufficient courage
so that Christ will be exalted through us, whether by life or by death. Whatever
happens, help us to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ
so that we honor Your name and bring strength to the Christian body. It is in
the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen.
