HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-To be touched by the true spirit of Christmas is to be kissed by
God-
2-Give to those in need, for some day you may benefit from the kindness of
someone who does likewise-
3-Faith is a gift from God that he makes available to anyone who wants
it-
4-Love cannot be measured, bought or sold, for it to be valued at all it
must be given away freely-
5-Don't confuse the will of the majority with the will of God-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Furniture disease is when your chest starts sliding down
into your drawers-
I'VE LEARNED-Unforgiveness is choosing to stay trapped in a jail cell of
bitterness, serving time for someone else's crime-
DID YOU KNOW-At any given time, there are eighteen hundred thunderstorms in
progress over the earth's atmosphere-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How many times did Jesus do a "miracle meal"?
2-What did the Pharisees hate most about Jesus?
3-If Jesus couldn't convince his skeptics of who he was, how can we ever
hope to convince others who Jesus is?
4-When Jesus performed a miracle, whose power did he use, his own or that
of this father?
5-Why did one man receive two touches from Jesus before he was
healed?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who had two daughters who got him drunk and committed
incest?
Yesterday's answer-Mary Magdalene
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 1:43-46
43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee.
He found Philip and said to him, "Follow me."
44 Philip was from the town of Bethsaida, where
Andrew and Peter lived.45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We
have found the man that Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also
wrote about him. He is Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Nazareth."
46 But Nathanael said to Philip, "Can anything
good come from Nazareth?"
Philip
answered, "Come and see."
PRAYER
FOR TODAY
Father,
we are surrounded by Your awesome works and the endless display of Your divine
handiwork. The entire universe is in perfect order which is a testimony to Your
greatness and continued watchful eye over all of Your creation. The silent
heavens speak as they declare Your majesty and glory. They also testify to Your
righteousness and faithfulness as the Lord who created them and gave them a
purpose for existence. May we, as Your human creation, also proclaim Your
righteousness and faithfulness day after day. May our lives display the work of
the Holy Spirit as we continue to grow in faith until the day of Christ’s
return. Amen.
