HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-You can't appreciate health unless you have been sick-
2-You can't appreciate joy unless you have known sorrow-
3-Happiness comes when we stop wailing about the troubles we have and offer
thanks for all the troubles we don't have-
4-Those who forget the language of gratitude can never be on speaking terms
with happiness-
5-Praise is the best of all sacrifices and the true evidence of
Godliness-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Whatever your past has been you can have a spotless
future-
I'VE LEARNED-I feared pain until I learned it was necessary for
growth-
DID YOU KNOW-The two hottest months at the equator are March and
September-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Jesus told Peter "Whatever you bind or set free on earth will be bound or
set free in heaven". What does that mean?
2-Was it Peter himself or his confession that was the "rock" on which Jesus
said he would build his church?
3-Did Jesus promise supernatural authority to his followers linking
spiritual actions on earth with eternal out comes?
4-When Jesus said to Peter "get thee behind me satan", did he mean Peter
was satan or that Peter spoke in a satanic like way?
5-Does every Christian have a cross to bear?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What tax collector climbed a tree to see Jesus?
Yesterday's answer-Samuel's sons 1 Samuel 8:1-3
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 2:1-5
1 Two days later there was a wedding in the
town of Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there,2 and Jesus and his followers were also
invited to the wedding.3When
all the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more
wine."
MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
4 Jesus answered, "Dear woman, why come to me?
My time has not yet come."
5 His mother said to the servants, "Do
whatever he tells you to do."
PRAYER
FOR TODAY
Father,
we thank that You include us in Your overall plan to harvest souls into the
kingdom of heaven. Open our eyes and burden our hearts as we look at the field
of souls ripe for harvest. Show us ways in which we can enlarge our circle of
influence as we work cooperatively with fellow believers in the great harvest of
souls. What a joy it is to see people come to faith and grow in their Christian
walk as we diligently plant seeds of salvation and water them with wisdom from
Your Holy Word and through our Christian testimony. Amen.
