HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-We need to live a life of immediate obedience to God-
2-For good relationships, listen to what is intended not to what is
said-
3-Christians should try to see how holy they can be, not how close to the
world they an get and still be a Christian-
4-Walking alone in the dark with a friend is better than walking alone in
the light-
5-God says. "I don't need you abilities, I want your availability"-
STRANGE THOUGHT-With her marriage, she got a new name and a dress-
I'VE LEARNED-I feared ridicule until I learned how to laugh at
myself-
DID YOU KNOW-The first man to return safely from space was Yuri
Gagarin-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-If Jesus was co equal with God the father, and filled with the Holy
Spirit, why did he have to pray and seek his father's counsel and will?
2-Could Jesus have selected other men as disciples who would have been
stronger leaders and followers?
3-Do we know of anyone who wanted to be a disciple but wasn't chosen to be
one?
4-What was the occupation of each chosen disciple?
5-Why did Jesus choose most of his disciples from Galilee?
BVIBLE TRIVIA-What did the hungry Esau give up to Jacob in exchange for
food?
Yesterday's answer-A pharisee Luke 18:9-14
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 3:9-15
9 Nicodemus asked, "How can this happen?"
10 Jesus said, "You are an important
teacher in Israel, and you don't understand these things? 11 I tell you the truth, we talk about what we
know, and we tell about what we have seen, but you don't accept what we tell
you.12 I have told you about things here on earth,
and you do not believe me. So you will not believe me if I tell you about things
of heaven. 13 The only one who has ever gone up to heaven
is the One who came down from heaven—the Son of Man.[a]
14 "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the
desert,[b]the
Son of Man must also be lifted up. 15 So that everyone who believes can have
eternal life in him.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father,
thank You for Your repeated warnings in Scripture that informs, instructs and
protects us from the evil one. Help us not to ignore Your warnings or
procrastinate in our obedience to Your commands. Embolden our spiritual leaders
to be fearless watchmen who speak out Your truths, even when they’re not popular
or politically expedient. May we be receptive to Your Word and obedient in our
response. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
