HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-It is what you learn after you know it all that counts-

2-Eyes are where they are for looking ahead-

3-Because life is short it is wise to make it broad-

4-Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits-

5-Just because you are on a well beaten path is no sign it is the right one-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-A boiled egg is hard to beat-

 

I'VE LEARNED-I feared change until I saw that even the most beautiful butterfly had to go through a metamorphosis before it could fly-

 

DID YOU KNOW-In Kentucky, it is illegal to carry ice cream in your back pocket-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Did the penitent crook know of Jesus prior to his crucifixion?

2-Don't we see Jesus' love as much in the people he tolerated as in the pain he endured?

3-Why is the cross the symbol of the christian faith?

4-If Jesus is part of the trinity, how can we say that Jesus is between us and God the father interceding for us?

5-At his crucifixion, Jesus cried out "MY GOD, MY GOD...".  Why did he use the name God instead of father?

 

BIBLE TRIVIA-"At this time King David was very old, and although his servants covered him with blankets, he could not keep warm" is the first verse of chapter one of what book of the bible?

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

 

Father, as I stand on the edge of the unknown, I long to trust you.  Enable me to lean the full weight of my life on your ability to guide my steps-

 

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
