HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Things of importance are never found on the run-

2-There is little appreciation by most people for the patient acquisition of virtue-

3-Memories bring back feelings, feelings bring back memories-

4-When you move to the unfamiliar you incur the unexpected-

5-A delay does not mean a cancellation-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-The batteries are given out free of charge-

 

I'VE LEARNED-I feared love until it touched my heart, making the darkness fade into endless sunny days-

 

DID YOU KNOW-In Hartford, Connecticut, it is illegal for a husband to kiss his wife on Sundays-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-What is the meaning of "take up your cross and follow me"?

2-Do all Christians have a "cross" to carry.  If so, why do we pray for deliverance from all our struggles and pain?

3-Why does the Bible say "who for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross".  Surely, he didn't?

4-Why did Pilate want a sign over Jesus head on the cross?

5-Why was Pilate's sign over Jesus head on the cross in three languages?

 

BIBLE TRIVIA-" From Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I was sent to help the faith of God’s chosen people and to help them know the truth that shows people how to serve God" is the first verse of chapter 1 of what book of the Bible?

²⁵ “There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On earth, nations will be afraid and confused because of the roar and fury of the sea. ²⁶ People will be so afraid they will faint, wondering what is happening to the world, because the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ²⁷ Then people will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Jesus, we anticipate your return, your vanquishing sin and death, satan and all evil-come quickly Lord Jesus!!!
