Ssunday June 5, 2016 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Submission is not enslavement.  It is the yielded, intelligent, humble, obedience, to an ordained authority-
2-Lord, smooth this fathers rough edges so I can be a parent worthy of my children-
3-Change is the most permanent thing in life-
4-If you fail when times are easy, your faith is small-
5-Privileges always bring responsibilities-

STRANGE THOUGHTS-Grateful is what it takes to build a good fire-

I'VE LEARNED-Something has to be the first thing on your list-

DID YOU KNOW-It takes a plastic container about fifty thousand years to start decomposing-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does the number 12 carry a spiritual significance?
2-Why are the minor prophets in the old testament called that?
3-What does the Bible mean saying "God raises up evil"?
4-What is it that the Bible calls "the second death"?
5-Do you know anyone that truly received Jesus as savior that regretted it?

BIBLE TRIVIA-"This is what happened during the time of King Xerxes, the king who ruled the one hundred twenty-seven states from India to Cush" is the first verse of chapter 1 of what book of the Bible?
Answer for the day     Esther

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Ephesians 2:8-9
I mean that you have been saved by grace through believing. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God. It was not the result of your own efforts, so you cannot brag about it.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Thank you Jesus, for paying the price for my sin and thereby sharing with me the riches of eternity with you and the Father-

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART-PEACE IN YOUR SOUL- JOY IN YOUR LIFE-ALWAYS-
