Friday October 28, 2016 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-What we do is who we are-
2-Faith is believing what God says without having to ask any questions-
3-Every opportunity demands an obligation-
4-If more saints would go out more sinners would come in-
5-I believe in the sun even when it isn't shining-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Birthdays are good for you for the more you have the longer you live-

I'VE LEARNED
Three things in life that are most valuable-1 love, 2 family, 3 kindness-

DID YOU KNOW
The first man to set foot on Antarctica was John Davis on February 7, 1821-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why do we criticize others for what they aren't instead of complimenting them for what they are?
2-Will Christians recognize the anti Christ?
3-What does the Bible mean saying "alive to Christ and dead to sin"?
4-Is sanctification a part of receiving the holy spirit?
5-Is it more important to be right or to be loving?

BIBLE TRIVIA
1 Corinthians 2:9- “No one has ever seen this, and no one has ever heard about it. No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”   This new testament verse is a quotation from what old testament book?
Answer for the day   Isaiah

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
Ephesians 5:1-2   You are God’s children whom he loves, so try to be like him. Live a life of love just as Christ loved us and gave himself for us as a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, I ask you to show yourself in me today in such a way that others will see you in me and want to know you better-

I PRAY THAT GOD GIVES YOU STRENGTH IN YOUR STRUGGLE, PEACE IN YOUR PAIN, AND VICTORY IN YOUR VALLEY-
