Wednesday October 5, 2016 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Where there is great love there always is great miracles-
2-There are no greater treasures greater than friends-
3-A friend is one who, when you've made a fool of yourself, doesn't think you've done a permanent job-
4-Faith is daring the soul to go farther than it can see-
5-Joy is not the absence of suffering but the presence of God-

STRANGE THOUGHT-In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity-

I'VE LEARNED-Give your family the bulk of your time, energy and love, and you will be happy-

DID YOU KNOW-It has been calculated that in the last 3500 years, there have been only 230 years of peace throughout the civilized world-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why do we interpret God's silence as unconcern?
2-Does God have the right to remain silent?
3-Is there a difference in getting riches and pursuing riches?
4-What is God's grace?
5-Is it giving if you give what you do not need?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Romans 11:35 “No one has ever given God anything that he must pay back.” This new testament verse is a quotation from what old testament book?
Answer for today   Job

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Romans 5:8
But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, thank you for loving me when I am at my worst.  Thank you for not giving up on me. Today I choose to walk in your forgiveness, your grace and your love-

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
