Wednesday November 15, 2015 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The more we help others, the less important our problems are-
2-We reap what we sow, even if we don't know what we are sowing-
3-Conceit is bad because the focus is on ourselves rather than on others or God-
4-It is easy to become weary in doing good-
5-Be careful how you act around non believers-

STRANGE THOUGHT
One reason we can't save any money is because our neighbors are always buying something we can't afford-

I'VE LEARNED
You must discipline your behavior to achieve a life of quality-

DID YOU KNOW
In 1978, more deer were killed by Connecticut automobile drivers than by Connecticut hunters-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is it correct to call God a person?
2-Was Jesus any way a human after his resurrection?
3-Does hell last forever or does it just seem like it?
4-If Christianity is the only real answer to life's questions, why aren't people drawn to the churches?
5-Did Jesus struggle with doing God's will at Calvary?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Name the person who said the following as their last words---"But you should not leave him unpunished. You are a wise man, and you will know what to do to him, but you must be sure he is killed.”
Answer for today        David

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
Matthew 5:11-12   “People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow me. But when they do, you will be blessed. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because you have a great reward waiting for you in heaven. People did the same evil things to the prophets who lived before you.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, give me contentment in the truth that you are my highest reward for serving you-

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
