Wednesday November 22, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The best portion of a good person's life is the little nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love-
2-Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn life around-
3-How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it-
4-Daily exercise routine--walk with God and run from sin-
5-God's desires become our desires when we truly delight ourselves in him-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Opportunity is always more recognizable going than coming-

I'VE LEARNED
Forgiveness is love at the testing point-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did Jesus not talk about his time between his death and his resurrection?
2-Was Judas different from the other 11 disciples?
3-Was Judas ever a true disciple of Jesus?
4-How can "satan" enter a follower of Jesus as he did with Judas and they not know it?
5-Who was the first person to be brought back to life as mentioned in the Bible?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Hebrews 5:1-4  Every high priest is chosen from among other people. He is given the work of going before God for them to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. Since he himself is weak, he is able to be gentle with those who do not understand and who are doing wrong things. Because he is weak, the high priest must offer sacrifices for his own sins and also for the sins of the people. To be a high priest is an honor, but no one chooses himself for this work. He must be called by God as Aaron was.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, I am humbled to be reconciled to you through Jesus your son-

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
