THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-God created father and child relationships to display his relationship with us.  Just as he created human marriage to reveal the love relationship

Between Christ and his bride-

2-God says he is, not was-

3-The empty tomb is the ultimate proof that Jesus' resurrected body was the same body that died on the cross-

4-If Jesus resurrected body was a new body, it wouldn't have had the crucifixion marks-

5-We do not just say what we believe, we end up believing what we say-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

When fish are in schools they sometimes take debate-

Feelings are not reliable guides for determining right and wrong-

1-Why was Jesus not in the boat with the disciples already the night he walked on the water to them?

2-Why was Peter the only one who was willing to get out of the boat and try walking to Jesus on the water?

3-Did Jesus ever travel in the land of the gentiles?

4-Does anyone ever choose to be a christian without divine enablement?

5-Does your personal salvation hinge on a human decision?

PSALM 128:1-4     Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.
² You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessing and prosperity will be yours.
³ Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house;
Your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
⁴ Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.

Father, you are my greatest blessing.  Help me to live consistently in light of this wonderful truth-
