Monday September 10, 2018 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Great things flow from a heart of gratitude-
2-Studies show that the richer people get, the smaller the percentage of money they give away-
3-Pursing wealth doesn't make you good at managing it-
4-Money does two things to people.  It makes us arrogant and over time it becomes our primary source of hope-
5-Wealth has its own gravitational pull.  The more I have the more I want-

STRANGE THOUGHT
The batteries were given out free of charge-

I'VE LEARNED
If you have never received grace yourself, it is very hard to extend it to other people-

DID YOU KNOW
The porcupine's love for salt often leads the animal to roadways or walkways where salt has been sprinkled to melt the ice-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is the Christian way a narrow restricted way?
2-Does God chastise us every time we fail?
3-Did Jesus deny Peter before God, (for his denial of Jesus) since he said "whomever deny's me before men, him will I deny before my father in heaven"?
4-What is the evidence of living for and serving Jesus?
5-Do you have to have a broken contrite heart to be "saved"?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What book speaks of the uselessness of spreading out a net in view of he birds it is supposed to catch?
Answer for today          Proverbs 1:17

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
1 Peter  3:8-9   Finally, all of you should be in agreement, understanding each other, loving each other as family, being kind and humble. Do not do wrong to repay a wrong, and do not insult to repay an insult. But repay with a blessing, because you yourselves were called to do this so that you might receive a blessing.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, help me to love others as you have loved me.  Nothing is more important today or any other day than to love others-

MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG,
ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
