Saturday Noember 17, 2018 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-We must not confuse God's patience with us with his approval of or indifference to our sin-
2-"Choose this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord"-
3-The way we live shows others the strength of our commitment to serving God-
4-We must be aware of compromising with wickedness-
5-An individual has a healthy personality to the exact degree to which they have the propensity to look for the good in every situation-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Is it possible to be totally partial?

I'VE LEARNED
We all need friends who will stick close, listen, care and offer help when it is needed in good times and bad-

DID YOU KNOW
More than fifty percent of Americans believe in the devil-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can you be a secret believer and follower of Jesus?
2-The tomb in which Jesus was placed, was it meant, to be a permanent place of burial?
3-Can you be a christian and have an obnoxious attitude?
4-Can you be a christian and use tobacco, alcohol or drugs?
5-If our body is the temple of God, why do we abuse our body so badly?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What grain did not suffer from the plague of hail in Egypt  because it had not grown enough?
Answer for today          Rye         Exodus 9:32

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Luke 6:43-45    You don’t get wormy apples off a healthy tree, nor good apples off a diseased tree. The health of the apple tells the health of the tree. You must begin with your own life-giving lives. It’s who you are, not what you say and do, that counts. Your true being brims over into true words and deeds.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, create in me a clean heart.  Enable me to bear good fruit for you in every aspect of my life-

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND
