Thursday November 29, 2018 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Remember, overnight success takes about fifteen years-
2-Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them-
3-Dishonest communication hinders relationships-
4-If we lie to others we will begin to deceive ourselves-
5-When we regard God correctly we gain a clearer picture of ourselves-
STRANGE THOUGHT
Why is the word "abbreviation" so long?
I'VE LEARNED
Others may hate you, but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them and then you destroy yourself-
DID YOU KNOW
Men are 1.6 times more likely to undergo bypass surgery than women-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does it matter to God what home we live in, what car we drive, or what clothes we wear?
2-Should Christians try to spend their income with christian business people?
3-Should Christians support businesses if they know the business is not run by christian principles or they support non christian activities or programs?
4-Should Christians live debt free except for a home?
5-Should Christians "pledge" their money to church or christian ministries, that they don't have trusting God will provide?
BIBLE TRIVIA
What defeated king was buried with his sons under an oak tree?
Answer for today        Saul           1 Chronicles 10-12
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Mark 13:28-31     Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer’s just around the corner. And so it is with you. When you see all these things, you know he is at the door. Don’t take this lightly. I'm not just saying this for some future generation, but for this one, too—these things will happen. Sky and earth will wear out; my words won’t wear out.             Message
PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, help me to live as your grateful and obedient child-
MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE, AND FRIENDS THAT CARE-
