Monday March 4, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Blessed are those who know what they are on earth to do and do it-
2-It is hard to see God through the feelings of pain-
3-When you can’t find God, trust him anyway-
4-Christians can endure their journey because they know their destination-
5-God never said the journey would be easy but he did say the arrival would be worth it-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully-

I’VE LEARNED
Whatever doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger-

DID YOU KNOW
1-How are we to understand the New Testament scripture that says we are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in us.  It also says that if anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him-
2-Why was the old testament term “you fool” such a terrible term?
3-Were the Old Testament sacrificial laws only for old testament times?
4-Was the Old Testament directions on tithing for specific occasions only?
5-Is the Sabbath day to be a day of worship or is it every day?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who proclaimed a fast at the river Ahava?
Answer for today         EZRA      8:21  There, by the Ahava Canal, I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions.

PRAYER

Father, thank you for making your strength available to me-

MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
