Sunday March 10, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The reality of suffering constitutes the single greatest challenge to the Christian faith-
2-Only in a world where faith is difficult can faith exist-
3-If there is no God, where did we get the standard of goodness by which we judge evil as evil-
4-If death has no meaning then life ultimately has no meaning-
5-God did not create evil, he created the possibility of evil and man actualized that potentiality-

STRANGE THOUGHT
You can’t take the wet out of water and still have water-

I’VE LEARNED
Be eccentric now.  Don’t wait for old age to wear purple-

DID YOU KNOW
Murphy Oil Soap is the chemical most commonly used to clean elephants-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How many children did Adam and Eve have?
2-How many sons, how many daughters did Adam and Eve have?
3-Were daughters born only later in life to Adam and Eve?
4-From where did Cain get his wife?
5-Why are there no mention of the names of any of Adam and Eve’s daughters?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What lake is called the Salt Sea in Genesis?
Answer for today      The Dead Sea          Genesis 14:3    All these latter kings joined forces in the Valley of Siddim (that is, the Dead Sea Valley).

PRAYER

Father, help me to stay strong in my faith whatever my circumstances in the midst of life’s difficulties-

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART-PEACE IN YOUR SOUL-  JOY IN YOUR LIFE -ALWAYS-
