Father, help me to make your wisdom the main thing in my life.  Strengthen me to live out the truth of your Word-

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-Who we are is not what we have but what our hearts is filled with-

2-Generosity should be a natural outflow of who we are-

3-Being religious and being righteous are not the same-

4-Some churches have become a hanger instead of a runway-

5-The greatest use of life is to spend it living for something that will outlast it-

When God released snakes among the Israelites in the wilderness for their ingratitude, the symbolism showed shades of the Garden of Eden-

1-Did Jesus miracles prove he was the Messiah?

2-When Jesus healed, cast out demons, walked on water, raised the dead, feed large crowds, etc, why didn't people understand and accept him as God?

3-Did the people ever wonder how Jesus did his miracles?

4-How large a part of Jesus ministry was the miracle part?

5-What was Jesus primary part in healing those who needed it?

Father, I want to know you and the wisdom of your kingdom.  Give me the passion to pursue you with all of my heart-

With all we have, it is easy for ingratitude to take over-

A  woodchuck normally breathes twenty one hundred times an hour. But it only breathes ten times an hour while hibernating-

1-How many people did Jesus bring back to life who were dead?

2-Whatever happened to Jairus' daughter after being raised from the dead?

3-Did Jairus, his family and daughter all become followers of Jesus after the daughter came  back to life?

4-Where was Jairus' daughter's soul while she was dead?  Did her old soul return or did she get a new one?

5-What effect did Jairus' daughter coming back to life have on her family, community and synagogue?

1-One of the tragic truths about sin is its consequences-

2-God's forgiveness restores us into a right relationship with him, but it doesn't erase the consequences of our actions-

3-It takes wisdom to know how to use wisdom-

4-One of the qualities about Jesus that stood out and attracted attention was the way he taught People about God-

5-Our circumstances do not dictate our joy, our relationship with and hope in Jesus do-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

Law of logical argument--anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about-

 

I'VE LEARNED

We need to take thanksgiving (not the holiday) seriously for God does-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-The woman with an issue of blood would be ceremoniously unclean so how could she be part if a crowd to see Jesus?

2-How would Jesus have dressed?

3-Was Jesus technically a rabbi?

4-Would Jesus have dressed as a rabbi or peasant?

5-When Jesus raised the dead wouldn't that have caused quite a stir and caused people to believe in him?

Father, I ask boldly and without doubting for you to give me help and understanding in my difficult times-

 

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
