Thursday July 29, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Faith is believing in advance what will make sense only in review-
2-Love is a basket with 5 loves and 2 fish for it is never enough until you start to give it away-
3-A sin of action is a result of a sin condition-
4-Christian living is not burning out, not rusting out, but living out for God-
5-Never contend with someone who has nothing to lose-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Dual airbags---a political debate-
I'VE LEARNED-You can't recycle wasted time-
DID YOU KNOW-In 1898 (fourteen years prior to the Titanic tragedy) Morgan Robertson wrote a novel called "Futility". The plot of the novel turned on the largest ship ever built hitting an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean on a cold April night.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did God chose the Jews for a special relationship with him?
2-Are the Jews hated so much because they are God's chosen people?
3-Who do we say Jesus is by the way we live?
4-Can anger be a good thing?
5 If salvation is not of works, why are Christian always prodded "to do more"?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What two sisters of Bethany had a brother named Lazarus and were close friends of Jesus?
Yesterday's answer-Esther
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 1:67-75
67 Then Zechariah, John's father, was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:
68 "Let us praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to help his people and has given them freedom.
69 He has given us a powerful Savior from the family of God's servant David.
70 He said that he would do this through his holy prophets who lived long ago:
71 He promised he would save us from our enemies and from the power of all those who hate us.
72 He said he would give mercy to our fathers and that he would remember his holy promise.
73 God promised Abraham, our father,
74 that he would save us from the power of our enemies so we could serve him without fear,
75 being holy and good before God as long as we live.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
