A PRETTY SPRING SCENE
Here are my thoughts for today
1-If you want something you never had, you will have to do something well you haven't done yet-
2-Perhaps God wants you to meet many different people in the course of your life, so that when you meet the right ones you can appreciate and be grateful for them-
3-What you give your attention to will shape your heart and character-
4-Don't be a duck, be an eagle--ducks quack and complain, eagles soar above the crowd-
5-Jesus went to the cross not because he deserved it but because he loved you and me-
Strange thought-There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation-
I've learned-A conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel so good-
5 things I want to know
1-Why don't we call the the Holy Spirit "the Spirit of Jesus"?
2-What were the keys to the kingdom of heaven that were given to the apostles?
3-How did the apostles become apostles?
4-Can you be an apostle today?
5-What is the "Crown of Righteousness" and is it an actual crown?
Scripture for today Proverbs 26:22-28
22 The words of a gossip are like tasty bits of food; people like to gobble them up.
23 Kind words from a wicked mind are like shiny coating on a clay pot.
24 Those who hate you may try to fool you with their words, but in their minds they are planning evil.
25 People's words may be kind, but don't believe them, because their minds are full of evil thoughts.
26 Lies can hide hate, but the evil will be plain to everyone.
27 Whoever digs a pit for others will fall into it. Whoever tries to roll a boulder down on others will be crushed by it.
28 Liars hate the people they hurt, and false praise can ruin others.
