Wednesday April 22, 2009 thought for the day
A PRETTY SPRING PICTURE
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Thanksgiving is good, thanks living is better-
2-Try to be satisfied with you lot, even if you don't have a lot-
3-It isn't what is in your pocket that makes you thankful but what you have in your heart-
4-As God loves a cheerful giver, so likewise a cheerful thanks giver-
5-Those blessings are sweetest that are won with prayer and worn with thanks-
Strange thought-It is amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world everyday always just exactly fits the newspaper-
I've learned-Opportunities always look bigger going than coming-
5 things I want to know
1-Would all vegetation have been destroyed in the great flood?
2-What tools would Noah have had available to build the ark?
3-How did Noah know how to build the arks interior since he didn't know how many creatures would be coming?
4-How was all the food and water provided for all the humans and creatures on the ark?
5-Was building the ark Noah's full time job after receiving God's instructions?
Scripture for today Proverbs 28:1-7
1 Evil people run even though no one is chasing them, but good people are as brave as a lion.
2 When a country is lawless, it has one ruler after another; but when it is led by a man with understanding and knowledge, it continues strong.
3 Rulers who mistreat the poor are like a hard rain that destroys the crops.
4 Those who disobey what they have been taught praise the wicked, but those who obey what they have been taught are against them.
5 Evil people do not understand justice, but those who follow the Lord understand it completely.
6 It is better to be poor and innocent than to be rich and wicked.
7 Children who obey what they have been taught are smart, but friends of troublemakers disgrace their parents.
I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
