HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The temptations that accompany prosperity are far greater than those that
accompany adversity-
2-Certain things must be so that other things might be-
3-With greater success comes greater trust which leads to greater
vulnerability-
4-The greatest character trail you can give your family is moral and
ethical self control-
5-There is no sin in the bait, the sin is in the bite-
STRANGE THOUGHT-When you get a bladder infection, you know urine
trouble-
I'VE LEARNED-Even great leaders make mistakes-
DID YOU KNOW-Buffet is a French word for "get it yourself"-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Who was the Bible's first known polygamist and was it okay?
2-Who were the "Nephilim"?
3-Who were the "Sons of God" in Genesis chapter 6?
4-Could the "Sons off God" have been angels and if so were they righteous
angels or immoral fallen angels?
5-Why would angelic creatures have taken human wives to produce children
with?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said "out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the
strong came forth sweetness"?
Answer for today Samson Judges 14:14
SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY Luke 8:15
15 And the seed that
fell on the good ground is like those who hear God’s teaching with good, honest
hearts and obey it and patiently produce good
fruit.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, we see ourselves in the criminals who died on the crosses next to Jesus.
We recognize that we were born with a sin problem, some of which we’ve exercised
at great length and the potential for further sin is daunting. But You provided
a way of escape, a way to unfetter our attraction to sin and lured our hearts
instead to that which is holy and righteous. The vilest offender who truly
believes in Christ’s salvation is instantly pardoned and assured of eternity in
heaven. Thank You for paying in full my debt of sin! How marvelous, how
wonderful is my Savior’s love for me!
