HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Peace does not silence your pain, you have peace in the midst of your pain-

2-The is no time like the present to build a future from the past-

3-Always try to be a little more kinder than necessary-

4-A smile is the most common mask of a persons true feelings-

5-You don't fight fire with fire, you fight fire with water-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Tomorrow never comes, it is always today-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Think something no one else is thinking-

 

DID YOU KNOW-M&Ms stand for the last names of Forrest Mars Sr., the sweet maker, and his associate, Bruce Murrie.  The candy was developed so soldiers could eat sweets without getting their finger sticky-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-For the most part, why do Bible believing Christians simply ignore the early Christian teaching and writings?

2-Why are many of our evangelical doctrines on salvation nearly identical to the teachings of the Gnostics?

3-Is it possible that some of the christian doctrines we consider sacred may not be correct?

4-Just who is the Holy Spirit?

5-How separate are the three entities of the Trinity?

²² Then Jesus said to his followers, “The time will come when you will want very much to see one of the days of the Son of Man. But you will not see it. ²³ People will say to you, ‘Look, there he is!’ or, ‘Look, here he is!’ Stay where you are; don’t go away and search.

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

  Father, we desire to clothe ourselves in Christ Jesus, whose Spirit resides within our hearts. We pray that our behavior would honor You as we seek to behave decently and live according to the pattern of Holy Scripture, for “we were taught, regarding our former way of life, to put off our old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of our minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like You in true righteousness and holiness.” May lust of the flesh be burned up by the fire of the Spirit that ignites us as we redirect our affections, energies, and time to that which is righteous and eternal. Make us like You, Father, as we follow after You in righteousness and holiness.  In the name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.
