1-Having God's word means little if you are not obeying it-

2-True happiness is not in our power to attain because we always want more than we can have-

3-Work done with the wrong attitude will leave you empty.  But, work accepted as an assignment from God can be seen as a gift-

4-The certainty of death makes all human success futile-

5-Human wisdom doesn't contain all of life's answers-

Romans 6:13-14    Do not offer the parts of your body to serve sin, as things to be used in doing evil. Instead, offer yourselves to God as people who have died and now live. Offer the parts of your body to God to be used in doing good. ¹⁴ Sin will not be your master, because you are not under law but under God’s grace.

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

 

Father, transform me by your grace, sanctify my heart, mind, hands, and feet so that I can life a holy life.  Help me to live victoriously over temptation that I encounter-

 

MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
