THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Without effort, your talent is nothing more than your unmet potential-

2-Without effort, your skill is nothing more than what you could have done but didn't-

3-Worry, fear, and distrust are all poisonous-

4-The joy of the Lord is the strength of our body, the gladness of Jesus is the balm for our pain, his life and his fullness are our fountain of healing-

5-God is not looking for eloquence, perfection or drama, he is looking for faith and obedience-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

There is no future in the past-

Ability is what you are capable of doing, motivation determines what you do, attitude determines how you do it-

 

DID YOU KNOW

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Why was the body of Jesus put in a tomb and not a common grave?

2-Why was the book of Matthew the only gospel to say that Roman guards were placed around the tomb of Jesus?

3-Why were the Jewish religious leaders afraid the disciples would steal Jesus body from his tomb?

4-At Jesus's death, did the disciples think their cause was over?

5-Why didn't the disciples understand that Jesus said he would be resurrected?

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

 

Father, show me, teach me, and guide me on your paths of truth and mercy.  Help me to extend mercy to others in the same way I've have received mercy from you-
