Wednesday July 19, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-We should never judge another's salvation.  That is God's work-
2-In Jesus's desert temptation, he heard the message from satan that he could achieve greatness without dying-
3-The Christian's destiny is secure, but Jesus will look at how they handled gifts, opportunities and responsibilities in order to determine their heavenly rewards-
4-Jesus is more than just a good leader, a good example, a good influence or a great prophet.  He is the son of God-
5-It is the power of God , not our faith that moves mountains, but faith must be present to do so-

STRANGE THOUGHT
What kind of last name is "of Tarsus"?

I'VE LEARNED
You are on the road to healing when you thank God for what you are learning-

DID YOU KNOW
Orchids are grown from seeds so small it would take thirty thousand to weigh as much as one grain of wheat-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How far should we be willing to go to find the lost sheep?
2-Does the church "go out" to find the lost sheep or wait for them to find the church?
3-What really motivates people to become Christians?
4-Who is responsible for maintaining your relationship with God, you or God?
5-Are Christians to be "fruit inspectors"?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Ephesians 6:2-3  "The command says, “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first command that has a promise with it. “Then everything will be well with you, and you will have a long life on the earth. "  This new testament passage is found in what old testament book?
Answer for today    Deuteronomy 5:16

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Psalm 20:1-4   May the Lord answer you in times of trouble.
May the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from his Temple
And support you from Mount Zion.
May he remember all your offerings
And accept all your sacrifices. Selah
May he give you what you want
And make all your plans succeed,
