THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-"Slaves obey your master" would be better stated today as "employees do
what your boss expects of you"-
2-Don't stay in the boat when God is calling you to walk on water-
3-Salvation is not about our performance but his promise, not about our
merit but his mercy, not about our goodness, but his grace-
4-Christians are not called to blend in but to stand out-
5-Refusing to forgive someone creates a barrier not only between you and
that person, but also between you and God-
STRANGE THOUGHT
In which story of Jesus did he make "deviled ham"?
I'VE LEARNED
It is the relationships that you build over the years that is the most
important thing in life-everything else is just an illusion-
DID YOU KNOW
A large, flawless emerald is worth more than a similarly large flawless
diamond-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What were Jesus thoughts about slavery?
2-Did Jesus really sweat drops of blood?
3-How was it possible for Jesus to survive the Roman flogging?
4-Why did Jesus have to be crucified and not just beaten to death?
5-How could Jesus have possibly survived the pain of beating
and nailing before crucifixion?
BIBLE TRIVIA
What feast did Mordecai describe in his letter to the Jews in Persia?
Answer Purim Esther 9:20-21
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
