Thursday December 2, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Getting me in hot water is often God's way of cleaning me up-
2-If we allow him to, God will find a way to redeem every tragedy that comes our way-
3-When God decided to redeem mankind, he did it through suffering-
4-Length of days in a sinful world is not God's greatest gift to mankind-
5-God is not the author of suffering, He is the helper in suffering-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Time spent speculating about anothers actions is time well wasted-
I'VE LEARNED-I've yet to be bored by someone paying me a compliment-
DID YOU KNOW-Spat out food is called chanking-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is Jesus the only one who can/could do miracles?
2-Were there miracles before and after Jesus', or just during his life?
3-In doing miracles, does God only do the supernatural (without human explanation) or does he also use nature and/or people?
4-Does agape love have any limits?
5-If you have perfect love, is all fear gone?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king of Israel built the city of Samaria and made it his capital?
Yesterday's answer-Jehu
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 20:20-26
Is It Right to Pay Taxes or Not?
20 So they watched Jesus and sent some spies who acted as if they were sincere. They wanted to trap Jesus in saying something wrong so they could hand him over to the authority and power of the governor.21 So the spies asked Jesus, "Teacher, we know that what you say and teach is true. You pay no attention to who people are, and you always teach the truth about God's way.22 Tell us, is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?"

23 But Jesus, knowing they were trying to trick him, said, 24 "Show me a coin. Whose image and name are on it?"

They said, "Caesar's."

25 Jesus said to them, "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and give to God the things that are God's."

26 So they were not able to trap Jesus in anything he said in the presence of the people. And being amazed at his answer, they became silent.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
