Thursday December 12, 2013 thought for the day

                                          What is in this picture?

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Anger and love have no limits-
2-When the word "biblical" can mean anything, it means nothing-
3-The grace of God is the mending glue for broken hearts-
4-Churches should be "no shame zone" places for broken people to come when they are hurting-
5-Every Christian has a past and every sinner can have a future-

STRANGE THOUGHT-English is a strange language--"He could lead if he got the lead out"-

I'VE LEARNED-Life is an echo.  What you send out, you get back.  What you give, you get in return-

DID YOU KNOW-Dogs that do not tolerate small children well include the Saint Bernard, the Old English sheepdog, the Alaskan malamute, the bull terrier, and the toy poodle-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What part does confidence play in faith?
2-Which of God's promises seem to be the most important?
3-What requests are appropriate to bring to God in prayer?
4-Are mercy and grace tangible promises?
5-What is happening when God is not answering your prayers?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Where did Paul have a vision asking him to found churches in Europe?
Answer for today   Troas   Acts 16:9

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Acts 28:7-11
There were some fields around there owned by Publius, an important man on the island. He welcomed us into his home and was very good to us for three days. Publius’ father was sick with a fever and dysentery.[a] Paul went to him, prayed, and put his hands on the man and healed him. After this, all the other sick people on the island came to Paul, and he healed them, too. 10-11 The people on the island gave us many honors. When we were ready to leave, three months later, they gave us the things we needed.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, as we give praise to You we are offering our heartfelt thanks for who You are and all that You do on our behalf. As we mature in our Christian walk we realize that there are many occasions when we must offer a sacrifice of praise since it doesn’t always come easily nor often enough. It is in those circumstances that we willfully choose to praise You out of obedient hearts desirous of pleasing You and glorifying Your name. May our words be fruitful and our thoughts praiseworthy in the name of Jesus we pray.  Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
