1-Repentance means not only confessing sins and asking God to forgive us,
but also abandoning our sinful ways-
2-God often saved his harshest criticism and punishment for those who
worshipped idols-
3-The essence of sin is selfishness, the essence of God's way of life is
selflessness-
4-Making "spiritual deals" only brings disappointment-
5-God does not want promises for the future but obedience for today-
