Tuesday October 30, 2018 thoght for the day

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-God will turn our tomb into a womb out of which we will be born with a perfect body into a perfect world-
2-God can sometimes use our suffering as a sermon to change others or to change us-
3-God's grace is a gift.  We don't earn it but we can lose it-
4-Guilt can stir up repentance and renewal.  So in the right dosage it is a blessing-
5-Guilt, most often, is an unbearable burden-

STRANGE THOUGHT
If the black box, flight recorder, is never damaged during a plane crash, why don't they make the rest of the plane out of that same stuff?

I'VE LEARNED
Say what you mean, but don't say it mean-

DID YOU KNOW
Odds of being killed in a car crash are one in five thousand.

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Could Judas have been forgiven for his betrayal of Jesus?
2-If Judas was a true disciple during his three years of following Jesus what happened causing him to turn against Jesus?
3-Did Judas ever desire to repent of his betrayal of Jesus?
4-If Judas had not decided to betray Jesus, would God have had to find another to do it?
5-Why is there a difference in what Judas did as recorded in the Gospels and Acts?
The chief priest bought a field   --    Judas bought a field
Judas hung himself        --      Judas fell to his death

BIBLE TRIVIA
What prophet saw four chariots pulled by horses that represented the four winds?
Answer for today        Zechariah           6:1-5

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Hebrews 9:23-26     That accounts for the prominence of blood and death in all these secondary practices that point to the realities of heaven. It also accounts for why, when the real thing takes place, these animal sacrifices aren’t needed anymore, having served their purpose. For Christ didn’t enter the earthly version of the Holy Place; he entered the Place Itself, and offered himself to God as the sacrifice for our sins. He doesn’t do this every year as the high priests did under the old plan with blood that was not their own; if that had been the case, he would have to sacrifice himself repeatedly throughout the course of history. But instead he sacrificed himself once and for all, summing up all the other sacrifices in this sacrifice of himself, the final solution of sin.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, only your son has the ability to open the door of heaven for me, and he has done that.  I praise you for your grace and your love-

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
