Wednesday October 17, 2018 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-God has no problems, only plans-
2-For the christian, we trust Jesus to be the carrier, protector, redeemer of our hearts and that death is no longer dying-
3-When we die, we leave behind us all that we have and take with us all that we are-
4-There is no such thing as freedom without a price-
5-You can't keep hurting a person and expect them to keep loving you-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Before drawing boards were invented, where did they go back to?

I'VE LEARNED
Broken crayons still color-

DID YOU KNOW
The average person will spend two weeks over their life time waiting for the traffic lights to change-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why were the disciples surprised to hear Jesus say it was difficult for a rich man to get into heaven?
2-Why do we as Christians strive so much for wealth and things?
3-Are riches God's reward for a good life?
4-What is the meaning of wealth to a christian?
5-Was blindness a major health problem in Jesus day?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Which New Testament author had a vision of locusts that looked like horses?
Answer for today          John          Revelation 9:7

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Matthew 9:12-13      Jesus, overhearing, shot back, “Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? Go figure out what this Scripture means: ‘I’m after mercy, not religion.’ I’m here to invite outsiders, not coddle insiders.”            Message

PRAYER

Father, thank you for helping me to recognize my spiritual sickness and bringing me to spiritual health-

LIVE SIMPLY, LOVE GENEROUSLY, CARE DEEPLY, SPEAK KINDLY, LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD
