Friday November 21, 2008 thought for the day

A BEAUTIFUL FALL SCENE
Here are my thoughts for today
1-The real secret to happiness is not what you give or receive but what you share-
2-People are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges-
3-Success never crowns those who are afraid to try-
4-Pass on your values, not just your assets-
5-Faith is not merely hope, it is more than belief, it is knowing of the heart-

Strange thought-today's trying times are tomorrows "good old days"-

I've learned-opportunities always look bigger going than coming-

5 things I want to know
1-Why were the women going to Jesus's tomb to anoint his body if they knew it had been securely sealed and guarded?
2-Why wouldn't all of Jesus's followers have wanted to go see for themselves that Jesus's tomb was empty?
3-Was Jesus's tomb ever used again?
4-Why wouldn't the empty tomb be a major symbol of Christianity like the cross has become?
5-Why is the resurrection celebrated at Easter?

Scripture for today-My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. James 1:19 (NIV)
I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
