Wednesday November 26, 2008 thought for the day

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TOMORROW
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-A faithful friend is a rare treasure-
2-Change brings fear before it brings faith-
3-We often interpret the presence of a problem as the absence of God-
4-Most people suffer some form of blindness (other than physical)-
5-In becoming man, God made it possible for man to see God-

Strange thought-if a rabbit's foot is lucky, what happened to the rabbit?

I've learned- if you don't know how to drive, don't buy a Ferrari-

5 things I want to know
1-How could anyone, including Jesus, endure the horror of a crucifixion?
2-Why did Jesus have to go through the crucifixion and not some other kind of death and resurrection?
3-Why did Peter go fishing after he denied he knew Jesus?
4-Why did God not allow Paul to go to Spain as he wanted?
5-Wasn't going to a roman jail instead of Spain a disappointment for Paul?

Scripture for today-Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. 1 John 3:18 (NLT)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
